With BBBS this should be no problem this would be tested into the past...otherway would be a mis config into his BBBS settings mebay...

I post to TRMB in a few other echos. Can you tell if the same
    problem persists for them?

Or.. I can temporarily switch over to TRMB for *this* echo and
    see if the problem persists.

YES.. I will do THAT. Then, I will announce a test message

The one in FIDOTEST didn't arrive well for Aftershock.

However this one I'm replying to is ok.

It doesn't have those ASCII 10 (LF) that Aftershock doesn't seem to like.

Do you have different configurations in openxp for these two echo? Or did you entered these messages in a different way?

You're right, it may be August's OpenXP or something.
Some of his messages posted through Al's system have LF's in the body (including kludges), but others don't :-S

Anyway, I think that this should be fixed in Aftershock - it should ignore ASCII 10 chars, as per FTS-1.

    Weird.

Do you have different configurations in openxp for these two echo? Or did you entered these messages in a different way?

    No and no.

I might "reflow" the quoted part of a message that I am

Just to be clear, after all the to and fro it is now apparent that it is not Aftershock that is causing the problem, but that a mod will be made to Aftershock to deal with the problem that other software creates.

Did it arrive to you with MSGID? You didn't quote kludges.

I've just installed latest 1.6.8 (instead of the 1.6.8 alpha5 version that Rudi

Can you reply to Jason Bock's message in FIDOTEST dated 9 Mar 22 00:54 ?

True.. that one slipped through before I actually switched.

But, meanwhile the REAL reason for the problem seems to have
shown itself, and nothing to do with OpenXP and/or which BBS my
    messages come from, right?
